HAPPY B-DAY TO US!A year goes by fast! I've had a lot of fun doing this blog and thought I'd share a few highlights that stood out for me. I'm looking forward to another year of running with you pack of designdawgs!
DAVID MERRELL
On July 16, I started a section called Great Coverups, showing before and after shots of events. This one shows an empty venue before and after it was transformed into Club Glen, a cool nightspot for a 50th birthday celebration.
In September I blogged about the Marriott Masters event (an untradeshow with cool lounge areas and a custom bar containing a live iguana display). The event was enhanced further with these amazing nature photos by Rand Larson (he also took the event photos).
And I also posted this photo of two German boys I took during my travels. I still smile seeing this. For me, this is what the blog has been all about -- sharing something fun, building community and taking emotional inspiration from design, traveling, connecting and just living life!
